Katlyn - New Albany High School

Katlyn from New Albany High School was in today!  She brought some fun outfits as well as her paintings so we could include them in her senior pictures. We loved your session and have fun at your CCAD program - after seeing your work, we're sure you will do well there! 

Brooke - PCHS

Brooke from Pickerington Central High School was here yesterday for her senior portraits.  This is one of my favs from her session - it was difficult for me to choose just one!  Thanks Brooke for choosing Janice Crabtree Photography as your senior photographer!

Duane is being inducted into the Hall of Fame!

Duane recently learned that he is being inducted into the Hamilton Twp. High School Athletic Hall of Fame!  He graduated from there in 1975 (yep, he's old) and played football, basketball, and ran track.  The induction ceremony will be at the first home football game on Friday, September 5th.  Please tell him congratulations when you see him!

We're crazy!

Crazy busy that is!  We've spent time getting the new sets and backgrounds ready for the seniors of '09 and then, of course, shooting their sessions, spent time at LightPro learning new lighting techniques, vacationed in Mexico, and then we taught 3 workshops here at our studio in Canal Winchester.  We had photographers fly into Columbus from all over the United States - Florida, Colorado, New York, Arizona and all points in between.  We taught lighting, retouching, and posing for high school senior portraits.  It was a great experience and we met some really fabulous senior photographers and learned some things from them too!  Thanks so much to Kaitie W., Katie R., and Aaron B. from Canal Winchester High School for modeling for us and a special thanks to Kaitie W. for leading the field trip to buy purses - hehe!

There's still time for 09......

There's still time for the Seniors of '09 (that sounds good, doesn't it!) to get your senior pictures taken before school starts!  We do have a little more time to play in the summer - why not take advantage of that.  Your practices, homework, games, and friends will all start to occupy all of your time - get that first thing checked off your list - seniors portraits - done!!!  Give us a call and get into the studio before school starts! 

Mexico

Our family vacationed in Mexico again this year - it is a great place to visit on not much money - we would highly recommend it!  We spent 10 days there and relaxed, soaked up the sun, repelled into a cave and swam, trekked through the jungle, zip lined, and climbed a Mayan ruin!  We also shot an engagement session for Alaina and Colby.  I won't bore you with all the vacation pics but wanted everyone to see one of their images - it turned out just as pretty as I imagined it!
