Yep, we had another Emily and boy did we have fun! We threw her out in a field and in a creek - she was such a good sport about it too!!! We love seniors and sessions like this - she was completely drenched and muddy when she got done and we laughed the entire time! Of course, we were in the creek with her but we didn't have to lay down in it!!! Thanks Emily for choosing Janice Crabtree Photography for your senior pictures. Molly Grossman, a 2010 senior from Canal Winchester High School, was in for her senior pictures and what senior pictures we got!!!!!! I will post more later but as we were talking and shooting these dance ones, I learned about an award she recently won and was so impressed I felt the need to BLOG about it!
Molly was one of only two National winners of the Artistic Merit, Leadership, and Academic Achievement Award through the National Dance Education Organization. It sounded like a grueling application process that required a lot of time and dedication of her part. She didn't just fill out a piece of paper!!!! Molly wants to attend OSU next fall and major in zoology. She is interested in keeping up with her dance by getting a job with a dance company to help pay for school! Right now, she dances 5-6 days a week at the BalletMet Dance Academy in Columbus, Ohio - not a lazy bone in this girl's body!
We had such a great time shooting these and Molly was such a sport! It was hot outside and she just kept jumping and leaping for me! This is her second leap - I was so shocked at how high and beautiful her first one was that I didn't even take the shot!
Congrats Molly on your award and work ethic! It will take you to new heights!
