When should I come in for my senior portraits?

So, you're an '09 senior and you're not sure when you should make your senior portrait appointment!  Many seniors in the central Ohio area want fall portraits for the color.  If that's you, you need to actually make that appointment well in advance of the fall foliage color - we already have seniors with appointments for next fall!  Those are the most popular appointments and go fast!  If you are an athlete, you probably should consider having your senior pictures taken in the summer.  It is likely you will have a lot more time on your hands in the summer months than you will once practice and school actually starts!  Also, during the summer months, we have more time to play and go on location than we do during those mega busy fall months, you probably have a great tan, it's easier to get a friends picture since they also have more free time, and, did I mention - we have more time to go to fun and different locations!  So, seniors of '09, it really isn't too early to start thinking about your senior year and your senior portraits - it's going to be your year, your memories!!   We'll make sure your senior pictures are the best they can be - give us a call!

Make-Up Tips

Your make-up is so important when getting your senior portraits taken.  It can make a huge difference in the final look of your senior pictures and we know you want them to be beautiful!  I am fanatical about beautiful lips and lip color in your portraits - always remember to bring lip gloss with color to your session as well as your powder to help control shine!  I found a website that has some great make-up, skin, and hair tips - check it out!  Feel free to leave your favorite make-up and hair tips sites in the comments section - I would love to take a look at them!
